My sister, the "Videographer"

Happy Fall, everyone! Here on the south plains of Texas we’re just beginning to feel like it’s actually my favorite season. I put most of the veggie garden to bed yesterday; leaving just left a few peas, carrots, onions, and the artichokes. I left the artichokes because I’ve left them to bloom and want a pic of as many as possible in their full purple glory. Above you see a close-up of one. I think they’re gorgeous! And the bees love them.
I just returned from a huge show in Oklahoma City called An Affair of the Heart. My younger sister, Sally, went with me to assist. We don’t get to spend much time together since she lives in Carrollton, and I’m in Lubbock, so we were looking forward to the trip. A wonderful time was had, and she was also a great help. Set-up and tear-down go so much faster with two. We were exhausted and sore, but shared many laughs as we worked. A friend who also does show booths had recently purchased new flooring tiles and graciously gifted me with her older ones. Both setting up and standing for three days were infinitely more bearable because of them. Thank you ever so much, Jennifer!
During the show, Sally decided to make some videos of the various elements of the booth, which she then posted as reels on Facebook. They received more views that we would ever have imagined. So she sent them to me, and I have uploaded them to the website. They allow everything to sparkle as they would in ‘real life.’ You can pretend you're there shopping! Below is the link. Please take a look!
Many of the pieces and sets are still available, so do a search through the Collections listed under “SHOP” for that special item that is calling to you!
Special thanks to my awesome lil’ sis!
In this season of gift giving, please remember how much us small business artisans need and appreciate your support! If you're in the Lubbock area, my next (and probably last - two others were cancelled) show of the year is Handmade Holiday at Aldersgate Church (10306 Indiana Ave,) on Saturday, Nov 15, 9 AM – 2 PM. I'd love to see you there!
Blessings,
Anna
